Smart Good Food, Good Catering, Good Wine Who we are
James and Eva Smart James I'm a civil engineer by profession and just love good food and fantastic wine. I have spent a long number of years working and travelling all over the UK and abroad. I decided to take the plunge and say goodbye to roads, bridges, buildings, car parks and pipelines both above and under water and follow my passion. Although I thoroughly enjoy eating and drinking, the preparing of dishes and trying out new combinations of food is the really exciting part. I like to use the best ingredients I can get and make even the simplest dish a treat. But don't just take my word for it, come and taste them.
Eva I spent my career to date in hotel management, before fully concentrating on opening the shop. My long standing ambition to open a delicatessen shop and share products from my native country, the Netherlands and associated products from Indonesia, has now come to fruition. I love cooking and entertaining, but am also fully aware that sometimes we do not have the time to make all everything ourselves. That is where we come in with our party platters and outside catering. We have some sample platters and can design them to suit your individual taste and need. The same goes for our ready meals and salads. Of course you can purchase the items individually and make your own platter, depending how much time you have available.
